St. Andrew's Parks and Playground
L.E.A.D After School Program
Where your child comes to Learn, Explore, Achieve and Develop!
St. Andrew's Parks and Playground is starting up their very own After School Program at Dogwood Park at 1710 Dogwood Road. The program will include: snack, homework help and completion before pick up, daily education topics (science, nutrition, math, art, PE and cooking), fun games and activities with a
1 to 7 teacher to participant ratio.
We are only taking up to 21 participants, so sign up now!

Program Hours: 3pm - 6:30pm

Schools we are servicing:
Springfield Elementary
(Springfield students will take the school bus route which stops
on Dogwood Road)
We will transport participants from:
Orange Grove Elementary
Ashley River Elementary
Drayton Hall Elementary

Cost: $65 NPSD/$60 PSD per week/per child
Early Dismissal, Teacher Workdays and some Holidays are an additional fee.
Program will start up Sept 7th.
All participants must be pre-registered and meet minimum requirements!

Youth Dance
The Youth Dance program will teach ballet, tap and jazz dancing to children
ages 3-11. Classes will begin on September 13th and will end in April with a dance recital. The recitals date is TBA.
Registration begins August 2nd.
Day: Monday
Times: 4:00pm - 4:45pm (ages 6-8)
4:45pm - 5:30pm (Ages 3-5)
5:30pm - 6:15pm (Ages 9-11)
Location: St. Andrew's Gymnasium
Fee: $260 PSD/ $280 NPSD or
Payment Plan Option: $66.25 PSD/ $77.25 NPSD in four easy installments. Must be reserved with credit card or checking account information.
($5.00 non-refundable administrative fee is included)

Stretch-n-Grow Fitness
Stretch-n-Grow is a comprehensive fitness and health education program for children of all ages that teaches them how fun fitness can be and about proper nutrition at an early age. Classes will include fun and energizing music, games and activities created just for their age group.

Stretch-n-Grow Yoga
The Program will connect with the child's mind, body and spirit to facilitate learning. Through music, storytelling, creative play and other arts, we engage children to explore the fun path of yoga. Children will participate in weekly sessions that feature developmentally appropriate yoga exercises designed to teach yoga terminology, poses and meditation techniques to participants.

Japanese Taiko Drumming
A dynamic art form grounded in core aspects of the martial arts, dance and percussion. Drumming within a Taiko ensemble is an exhilarating workout for the body and spirit. Come join us for the fun as we gather for a musical and physical workout together. All materials included.

Que Pasa - Spanish for Kids!
Sing, dance, play and learn SPANISH!
Come learn Spanish language and culture in this FUN class! Our instructors are enthusiastic about sharing their love of Spanish and Spanish culture with children. Learning language at a young age sparks intellectual growth, enhances verbal and mathematical problem solving skills, sharpens listening skills, promotes cultural awareness and even can increase test scores!!! During the weekly classes, we play games, sing songs, dance, use visuals, arts and crafts, have FUN and learn SPANISH!

Halloween Carnival
Bring the entire family out to our fun and safe Halloween Carnival. There are plenty of games to be played and our haunted hayride is always a crowd pleaser. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Adult Programs

Belly Dance
Bring your friend or make new ones! Learn the ancient art of Middle Eastern Dance while firming the entire body. This class caters to adult beginners and experienced dancers. Lessons cover all forms of the dance including veil. Session starts on the first Tuesday of the session.

Hand Tool Renaissance
Do you want to learn everything about hand planes, wood chisels and hand saws? This class will teach you the fundamentals of these tools including: how they are used, proper set up and buying new vs. used. Instructor will also discuss dovetail joints and how to use properly in furniture and cabinet making.
